Job summary

Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel & Spa in Glasgow seeks a part-time Concierge to warmly welcome guests, provide personalised recommendations and ensure memorable experiences in a luxury setting.

You will be the first point of contact, assist with dining, drinks and local adventures, and respond to guest requests with a smile. Availability is for 30 hours per week across shifts; prior 4-5* hotel experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Availability to work 30 hours per week with flexibility to work 3x10h shifts or 4x8h shifts.
• Experience as a Receptionist, Concierge or Guest Services Agent at a 4/5* hotel is beneficial.
• Knowledge of the local area and good spots for dining and drinking.
• Passion for interacting with guests and delivering personal service.
• Drive to produce results and contribute to team success.
• Warm, authentic personality with can-do attitude and commitment to service.
• Willingness to work with the team to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

What do you need to be a Concierge? Your main duties and responsibilities will be the first point of contact for our guests and ensuring a uniquely personal experience for every guest. • Availability to work 30 hours per week, with flexibility to work either 3 x 10-hour shifts or 4 x 8-hour shifts, depending on the needs of the business. The successful candidate will also be willing to work occasional longer shifts when required to support operational demands.
• Experience working as a Receptionist, Concierge or Guest Services Agent at a 4/5* Hotel is beneficial.
• Knowledge of the local area, know the good spots for food and drink especially!
• Passion for interacting with guests, this is a hugely hands on role that requires great personal skills.
• Drive to produce results, we work together within the Kimpton family to continue to provide our guests with extremely personal experiences and human connection.
