Job summary

Tees Active is seeking a part-time Customer Service representative at Billingham Forum. You will be the first point of contact, handling enquiries in person and by phone, while processing sales and bookings and managing cash with accuracy.

Applicants should have at least 6 months in a customer service role, strong numeracy and IT skills, and excellent communication abilities. A Basic DBS check is required, with shift patterns including weekends.

15 hours per week over a shift pattern rota.

THE LOCATION

Billingham Forum is one of the most iconic leisure destinations in the North East. This wet and dry community facility has: 3 swimming pools, a health and fitness suite including sauna and steam room facilities. The venue also boasts Go Climb, an interactive wall climbing experience and Ice Rink. In addition to Billingham Forum Theatre offering a wide variety of entertainment for all members of the family.

THE ROLE

As the first point of contact, you will deal with customer enquiries both face to face and over the telephone, process sales and bookings, handle cash as well as dealing with customer queries and issues in a calm and polite manner. The role will require a Basic DBS check.

ABOUT YOU

You must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure and empathise with customers. You must also have good numerical, literacy, IT skills and have good attention to detail. Ideally, you will have a minimum of 6 months recent experience in a Customer Service role.
