Job summary

Step Teachers Ltd seeks a Reception Teacher for a full-time long-term position starting December 2026. The role involves delivering EYFS-aligned learning, creating a nurturing classroom, and supporting holistic pupil development within a thriving primary setting.

The ideal candidate will hold QTS, have EYFS/Reception experience, and bring strong classroom management and safeguarding commitment to the role.

Qualifications

• QTS is required.
• Experience teaching in EYFS or Reception settings.
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.
• Excellent knowledge of child development and early learning.
• Ability to create engaging and inclusive learning experiences.
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.
