Job summary

Academics is seeking an experienced EYFS/Reception teacher for Havering, London, to start October or November 2026. This 2-form entry primary school offers a well-resourced EYFS department, supportive SLT, and a vibrant learning environment.

The role is a long-term maternity cover through July 2027 with a move to a permanent contract from July/August 2027. ECTs welcome; you will deliver an engaging curriculum and be part of a team committed to high standards and excellent CPD.

Qualifications

• Have excellent knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
• Experience teaching EYFS/Reception and familiarity with the UK National Curriculum.
• QTS certification is required; ECTs will be considered.

Are you seeking a new teaching role for October or November 2026 start?

Would you like to work in a primary school where they have a well resourced EYFS Department with supportive SLT?

A 2 Form Entry Primary School in Havering, London are looking for an experienced EYFS/ Reception teacher OR ECT to join them in ASAP to cover a 1 year maternity role.

This Reception Teacher role is being offered on a paid to scale long term contract till July 2027 and then moving onto a permanent contract from July/August 2027. You will receive all the pay you are entitled to from day one!
