Job summary

Step Teachers is seeking a Reception/Year 1 Teacher for a long-term position at a Church of England primary academy in Thetford, Norfolk. The role involves teaching across Reception and Year 1, supporting transitions from EYFS to KS1, and creating an inclusive classroom that fosters attainment and wellbeing.

Reception / Year 1 Teacher - Long-term, temporary and ongoing, full-time starting September 2026

Duties as Reception/Year 1 Teacher:

• Ability to create engaging and inclusive learning opportunities
• Passion for supporting young children to achieve their full potential
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
