Penrosehealth is seeking a Welcome Team Lead to join the Kingfisher Medical Centre & Kingfisher Surrey Docks site in London. This permanent full‑time role focuses on delivering a professional, efficient, and welcoming patient experience at the front desk.

You will supervise the Welcome Team, coordinate rotas, and support busy clinics while maintaining high standards of service and confidentiality. A calm, proactive leader will help keep patient flow smooth and staff engaged.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising small teams in a front‑of‑house setting.
• Strong communication and organisational skills are essential.
• Ability to stay calm and handle busy clinics with empathy.

Responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day supervision and support to the Welcome Team.
• Coordinate rotas and daily staffing cover.
• Help organise and prioritise the team’s workload.
• Coach colleagues and support induction and ongoing development.
• Provide feedback and escalate concerns to the Site Operations Manager.
• Oversee the smooth running of reception and waiting areas.
• Welcome patients and ensure they are checked in efficiently.
• Ensure patient contact details and health information are up to date.
• Monitor appointment books and resolve scheduling issues.
• Model best-practice technique and professional conduct.
