Job summary

Nuffield Health Parkside Hospital is seeking a Reception Team Leader to oversee reception teams, manage staff rotas, and drive excellent customer service. Prior supervisory experience in a clinical or hospital setting is advantageous, with responsibilities spanning training, appraisal planning, and data reporting to support site operations.

You will help coordinate resources across the site, ensuring adherence to policies and maintaining our service standards.

Reception Team Leader

At Nuffield Health Parkside Hospital, we are looking for someone to help manage our reception teams and drive exceptional levels of customer service. Previous supervisory experience within a clinical or hospital setting would be beneficial.

As a Reception Team Leader, you will:

• Manage staff rotas, ensuring all shifts are covered and stepping in personally to provide additional support when needed.
• Support induction, training, and ongoing mentoring for new team members.
• Ensure work is delivered on time and in line with established policies and procedures.
• Help coordinate and optimise staff resources across the site.
• Identify skill gaps within the reception team and contribute to planning and delivering training, including the annual training plan and appraisal process.
• Ensure reception colleagues complete and validate all required training.
• Provide accurate staff data to management to support continuous improvement and strategic planning.
• Oversee daily reception processes, maintaining high service standards and ensuring practices align with Nuffield Health values.
