Job summary

Moore Teachers is working with a friendly primary school in Cuffley to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a Reception class on a long-term basis.

The role involves one-to-one, small-group and whole-class support, including phonics, literacy and play-based learning. The ideal candidate has school/EYFS experience and a patient, enthusiastic approach with strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school, nursery or educational setting.
• A patient, caring and enthusiastic approach.

• Genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning within a Reception classroom.
• Work with pupils on one-to-one, small-group and whole-class basis.
• Assist with phonics, literacy, numeracy and play-based learning activities.
• Promote children's social, emotional and academic development.
• Help create a positive, engaging and nurturing classroom environment.
• Work closely with the class teacher and wider school staff to support pupil progress.
