Job summary

Moore Teachers Ltd is assisting a friendly primary school in Cuffley to find a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a Reception class on a long-term basis. You will support pupils 1:1, in small groups and with whole-class activities, helping phonics, literacy and numeracy while fostering confidence and independence.

The ideal candidate has experience in schools or nursery settings and a patient, enthusiastic approach, with strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school, nursery or educational setting.
• Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is advantageous.
• A patient, caring and enthusiastic approach.

• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.

Responsibilities

Moore Teachers is delighted to be working with a friendly and welcoming primary school in Cuffley, seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils within a Reception class on a long-term basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or Early Years Practitioner who is passionate about helping young children develop confidence, independence and a love of learning during the crucial early stages of their education.

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable. If you do not currently hold a DBS, one can be arranged subject to the necessary checks.
