Flourish Education is recruiting a Reception Teacher to work in a one-form-entry primary school in Burntwood. The post is part-time and long-term, from October 2026 until April 2027, with responsibilities including planning, assessing and marking pupils’ work in line with school policies, and delivering engaging and creative lessons.

Are you a Primary Teacher looking for a new position?

Flourish Education is currently recruiting for a Reception Teacher to work in a one-form-entry primary school based in Burntwood.

Our client is looking to recruit a Reception Teacher to work on a part-time, long-term basis, from October 2026 until April 2027.

You will be responsible for planning, assessing and marking pupils’ work in line with the school’s policies. You will also be expected to deliver engaging and creative lessons, work alongside the Teaching Assistant and attend staff meetings.

Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply, as well as experienced teachers.

The working days will be Wednesday to Friday, from 8:15 am to 4:30 pm.

Required Skills and Experience

To be considered for this EYFS Teacher role, you must:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have good curriculum knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Have experience working in a nursery or primary school setting.
• Have recent UK school-based experience.
• Hold a DBS on the Update Service, or have a DBS certificate that was issued within the last 12 months.
• Be able to provide a minimum of two strong references.
