Job summary

Flourish Education is recruiting a Reception Teacher to work in a one-form-entry primary school in Burntwood. The post is part-time and long-term, from October 2026 until April 2027, with responsibilities including planning, assessing and marking pupils’ work in line with school policies, and delivering engaging and creative lessons.

ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply. Working days are Wednesday to Friday, 8:15 am to 4:30 pm, with on-site parking and ongoing support from

Qualifications

• Hold QTS to qualify for EYFS teaching roles.
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Experience in nursery or primary school settings.
• Recent UK school-based teaching experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assess and mark pupils’ work following school policies.
• Deliver engaging, creative lessons to EYFS pupils.
• Collaborate with the Teaching Assistant and attend staff meetings.
• Be involved in ongoing safeguarding and safeguarding training.
