Job summary

Meliá Hotels International in Manchester is seeking an enthusiastic Receptionist to lead and supervise the daily shift on Reception, ensuring guests are attended to with the utmost courtesy.

You will assist the Reception Management in implementing new procedures, coordinating training and development, and coordinating VIP arrivals to maintain our high standards.

• Make all staff on duty aware of the daily availability and handovers.
• Ensure that all guests are met at Reception with courtesy and that any complaints are dealt with promptly and efficiently with guidance from the Reception Management.
• Ensure the hotel’s procedure is adhered to at all times.
• Ability to work without supervision.
• Coordinate VIPs and groups arrival.
• UndertakeDuty Managementshifts.
• Manage development needs within the team
• Communication with other departments to ensurecorrectprocedures are followed
