Job summary

Melia Hotels International in Liverpool is seeking a Reception Supervisor to lead the daily shift on the front desk at Innside by Melia Liverpool, ensuring guests are welcomed and attended to with courtesy and efficiency.

You will support Reception Management with the implementation of new procedures, coordinate training, and liaise with other departments to uphold the hotel's standards. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract located in the heart of Liverpool.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a hotel reception team.
• Ability to implement procedures and coordinate training.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the daily shift on Reception.
• Ensure guests are greeted with courtesy and any complaints are addressed promptly with guidance from Management.
• Coordinate VIPs and group arrivals.
• Undertake Duty Management shifts.
• Communicate with other departments to ensure correct procedures.

Job Summary:

You will lead and supervise the daily shift on Reception, ensuring Receptionists carry out all duties to the required standard and that all guests are attended to with the utmost courtesy. You will be assisting the Reception Management in the implementation of new procedures, co-ordination of training and development.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Make all staff on duty aware of the daily availability and handovers.
• Ensure that all guests are met at Reception with courtesy and that any complaints are dealt with promptly and efficiently with guidance from the Reception Management.
• Ensure the hotel’s procedure is adhered to at all times.
• Ability to work without supervision.
• Coordinate VIPs and groups arrival.
• UndertakeDuty Managementshifts.
• Manage development needs within the team
• Communication with other departments to ensure correct procedures are followed
