Job summary

Juice Hospitality Ltd seeks a Reception Manager for a luxury beachside resort on a UK island for the 2026 season (March/April to October/November). Lead the front office, ensure guest‑first service, manage check‑in/out, reservations, and concierge, while coordinating with housekeeping, F&B, spa and maintenance.

You will need proven supervisory experience in a luxury hotel, strong leadership, excellent communication, and familiarity with PMS systems.

Qualifications

  • Proven supervisory front office or reception experience in a luxury hotel or boutique property.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guest‑focused mindset.
  • Strong leadership abilities for small teams in high‑season environments.
  • Proficient with hotel PMS (Guestline or similar), MS Office and reservation platforms.
  • Calm, organised and solution‑oriented under pressure.
  • Flexible for remote island location and travel logistics.
  • Right to work in the UK and commitment to full seasonal contract.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate and manage the reception and concierge team for seamless daily operations.
  • Oversee check‑in/check‑out, reservations, guest inquiries, billing and concierge services.
  • Serve as primary guest contact, delivering warm, professional service to luxury standards.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, F&B, spa and maintenance to resolve needs promptly.
  • Run daily shift briefings, rosters, feedback and training for team members.
  • Handle complaints and special requests with empathy and efficiency.
  • Ensure health & safety, GDPR, and licensing compliance.
  • Support revenue through upselling rooms, spa, dining and island activities.
  • Assist with seasonal setup, stock control and end‑of‑season close‑down.

We are now recruiting an experienced Reception Manager to lead our front office team during the 2026 season. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in one of the UK's most beautiful and exclusive island destinations while delivering world-class guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the reception and concierge team to ensure seamless daily operations and outstanding first impressions.
  • Oversee all front office functions, including check-in/check-out, reservations, guest inquiries, billing, and concierge services.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for guests, delivering warm, professional, and proactive service in line with Karma Group's luxury standards.
  • Coordinate closely with housekeeping, food & beverage, spa, and maintenance teams to resolve any guest needs promptly.
  • Manage daily shift briefings, rosters, performance feedback, and training for team members.
  • Handle guest complaints and special requests with empathy and efficiency, turning potential issues into positive experiences.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, data protection (GDPR), and licensing regulations.
  • Support revenue optimisation through upselling of rooms, spa treatments, dining, and island activities.
  • Assist with seasonal set-up, stock control for reception area supplies, and end-of-season close-down.
About You:
  • Proven experience in a similar supervisory or managerial front office/reception role in a luxury hotel, boutique property, or 4/5-star environment (seasonal island or remote resort experience is highly desirable).
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for guest service.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience managing small teams in a fast-paced, high-season environment.
  • Confident using hotel management systems (e.g., Guestline or similar PMS), Microsoft Office, and reservation platforms.
  • Calm, organised, and solution-focused under pressure.
  • Flexible and adaptable – comfortable working in a remote island location with variable weather and travel logistics.
  • Right to work in the UK and commitment to the full seasonal contract.
