Key Responsibilities
- Undertake waiter/waitress responsibilities as needed
- Monitor and improve Spend Per Head in your department
- Organise and manage shifts as a duty manager
- Maintain restaurant consumables within budget and quality standards
- Manage stock control, including wastage, ordering, invoicing, and stock levels
- Prepare a two-week rota for the restaurant team, with a monthly forecast
- Conduct regular reviews with team members to support career development
- Liaise with the General Manager for guidance and training needs
- Assess staffing levels weekly and recruit as needed
- Lead the restaurant recruitment process, ensuring an excellent candidate experience
- Oversee onboarding, training, and CPL compliance for new staff
- Maintain an up-to-date Talent Pipeline with training and succession plans
- Conduct monthly health checks and produce action plans
- Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety policies and legislative requirements
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
- Team management experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail, highly organised, capable of multitasking
- Proactive self-starter with good judgment, able to work independently
