Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake waiter/waitress responsibilities as needed
  • Monitor and improve Spend Per Head in your department
  • Organise and manage shifts as a duty manager
  • Maintain restaurant consumables within budget and quality standards
  • Manage stock control, including wastage, ordering, invoicing, and stock levels
  • Prepare a two-week rota for the restaurant team, with a monthly forecast
  • Conduct regular reviews with team members to support career development
  • Liaise with the General Manager for guidance and training needs
  • Assess staffing levels weekly and recruit as needed
  • Lead the restaurant recruitment process, ensuring an excellent candidate experience
  • Oversee onboarding, training, and CPL compliance for new staff
  • Maintain an up-to-date Talent Pipeline with training and succession plans
  • Conduct monthly health checks and produce action plans
  • Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety policies and legislative requirements
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Team management experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail, highly organised, capable of multitasking
  • Proactive self-starter with good judgment, able to work independently
