We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Reception Manager to join our team and play a key role in delivering top-tier hospitality.

Role Overview:
As ourReception Manager, you will be the face of the hotel and the first point of contact for our guests. You will manage the daily operations of the reception team, ensuring that every guest receives the highest level of customer service, whether they are checking in, seeking assistance, or checking out. Your leadership, organisational skills, and passion for hospitality will be key to providing an outstanding guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and manage the reception team to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the front desk, including guest check-ins/check-outs, reservations, and phone enquiries.
  • Handle guest requests, complaints, and special requirements with professionalism and efficiency, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest bookings, payments, and any special requests.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping, restaurant, and other departments to ensure smooth communication and a seamless guest experience.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.
  • Manage the hotel’s booking system, monitor occupancy levels, and provide reports on reservations.
  • Train, develop, and appraise reception staff, fostering a positive and motivated team environment.
  • Support the management team with administrative tasks and operational planning.
  • Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar reception or front-of-house management role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a passion for delivering a memorable guest experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • Proficiency with hotel management software and booking systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure, maintain a calm and professional demeanour in busy situations.
  • A flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and evenings.
