Job summary

All Together Education Recruitment is working with an infant school in Romford to recruit a Reception Teacher for a one-year maternity cover. The successful candidate will create a nurturing, engaging classroom that supports children's confidence, independence and love of learning.

Applicants should have QTS and EYFS experience, strong knowledge of the EYFS framework, and be confident in phonics, assessment and inclusive practice. An enhanced DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• QTS with experience in early years settings (EYFS).
• Proven ability to plan and deliver engaging EYFS lessons.
• Strong understanding of child development and inclusive practice.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Teach phonics and support early reading, writing and numeracy.
• Develop stimulating continuous provision and purposeful play.
• Assess children's progress and adapt provision to individual needs.
• Collaborate with support staff, colleagues and parents.
• Maintain positive routines and support children's wellbeing.
