Job summary

The Education Specialist (TES) is seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to join a welcoming Bootle primary school to cover a Reception class on maternity leave starting January for two terms.

The role requires QTS, experience teaching in a UK primary setting, and strong EYFS knowledge. You will plan engaging lessons, differentiate for diverse learners and monitor pupil progress, all while upholding safeguarding standards and working with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required.
• Experience teaching in UK primary schools is essential.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
• Reception teaching experience desirable.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.
• Enhanced DBS on update service or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the EYFS.
• Teach a Reception class during the maternity cover.
• Support children's development across the seven areas of learning.
• Differentiate teaching to meet diverse needs.
• Monitor and track pupil progress and behaviour.
• Work collaboratively with staff, SENCO and leadership.
