Job summary

Portico is seeking an enthusiastic Reception & Event Host (Colleague Support Host) to join the Colleague Support Team. You will act as the first point of contact, creating a welcoming, professional environment while supporting day-to-day operations of a flagship corporate office in a customer-focused role.

Shifts total 37.5 hours weekly (Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm) with a salary of £26,632 plus a free meal on shift. If you thrive on delivering outstanding service, you will excel in this role and help

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, front-of-house, reception, or hospitality role is essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to manage multiple requests with a proactive, flexible approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Main Reception and Front Desk operations
• Deliver a first-class visitor and guest experience
• Support the Executive Client Meeting Suite and internal meeting rooms
• Provide floor management support with the Property Services Team
• Assist with basic AV and technology support for meetings and events
• Help plan and deliver workplace events and hospitality requirements
• Manage guest registration and meeting room bookings
• Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues and visitors
• Keep the office environment professional, welcoming and well-presented
• Respond to multiple requests efficiently while maintaining high service standards
