Job summary

St Joseph’s RC Primary School in Stourbridge is seeking a Class Teacher for Reception to start January 2027. The post is full time and permanent, with the salary aligned to the Teachers Main Pay Range.

The successful candidate will have strong EYFS knowledge, be confident with early reading and phonics, and bring warmth, energy and high expectations to nurture each child within a Catholic ethos.

The Local Governing Body is seeking to appoint a class teacher to join our happy, successful and well-respected primary school. We are looking for someone who has a good understanding of the requirements of the national curriculum, demonstrate passion and enthusiasm in all areas of learning and school life. The successful candidate will bring warmth, energy and high expectations to the early years department. They will have a secure understanding of the EYFS and sparks curiosity through skilful teaching and play and can teach early reading and phonics with confidence.
