Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Bournemouth seeks an Associate within Payments Operations to oversee Real-Time Payments reconciliation, settlement and control processes across multiple rails. You will monitor transactions, investigate discrepancies and support scalable operational controls.

You will partner with Product, Technology, Finance and Risk to safeguard payment integrity, drive process improvements and ensure timely month-end closing in a fast-moving payments environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Payments, Treasury Services, Reconciliations or Finance Ops.
• Strong understanding of payment operations and reconciliation methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for high-volume data.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis with large transactional datasets.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational oversight of RTP reconciliation and settlement across multiple rails.
• Perform end-to-end transaction monitoring, post-settlement reconciliations and exception management.
• Investigate reconciliation breaks and settlement discrepancies with stakeholders.
• Monitor daily cash, settlement and accounting positions and escalate exceptions.
• Support RTP risk and control framework and audit readiness.
