Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an Associate in Payments Operations to oversee reconciliation, settlement and control processes across multiple RTP schemes. You will monitor transactions, investigate anomalies and support scalable operational processes to ensure accurate payment activity.

You will collaborate with Product, Technology, Finance, Risk and Compliance to strengthen controls, enhance real-time payments capabilities and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced payments environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Payments, Treasury Services, Cash Management, Reconciliations or Finance Operations.
• Strong understanding of payment operations and settlement lifecycle.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with complex data.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational oversight of RTP reconciliation and settlement across multiple rails.
• Perform end-to-end transaction monitoring and post-settlement reconciliations.
• Investigate reconciliation breaks and settlement discrepancies with stakeholders.
• Monitor daily cash, settlement and accounting positions and escalate issues.
• Support RTP risk and control framework and audit readiness.
• Develop reconciliation reporting, KPIs and operational metrics.
• Collaborate across Product, Technology, Finance, Risk and Operations on new payments initiatives.
• Support month/quarter/year-end control activities.
