Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on Java concepts and proficient applied experience.
• Strong knowledge of Java 17+ fundamentals, Spring Boot, and OO design.
• Experience with modern testing tools (JUnit, Mockito, Spring Test Framework).
• Experience designing schemas/data structures in resilient SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., CockroachDB).
• Familiarity with Linux, containers, and cloud architectures and services.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience working with globally distributed engineers.
• Understanding of the full software development lifecycle and agile approach.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise-approved AI-assisted development tools and ability to validate outputs.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance, latency-sensitive code with security in mind.
• Write secure, high-quality code and automated tests.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure design constraints are met.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational stability of software.
• Participate in communities of practice to promote modern technologies.
• Collaborate effectively as part of a global team.
• Provide out-of-hours support and coordinate Production releases.
• Leverage AI coding tools within a controlled development workflow and validate outputs.
