Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on Java concepts and proficient applied experience.
• Understanding of Java 17+ fundamentals and frameworks (Spring Boot), OO programming, multi-threading, messaging technologies and networks.
• Experience with modern testing tools (JUnit, Mockito, Spring Test Framework).
• Experience using and designing schemas/data structures in resilient SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g. CockroachDB).
• Familiarity with Linux, containers and cloud architectures/services.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with globally distributed teams.
• Understanding of the full SDLC and Agile approach.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted software development tools and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance, latency-sensitive Java code with security and code reviews.
• Write secure, high-quality code and automated tests.
• Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure design constraints.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational stability of software and systems.
