Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking motivated Java engineers to enhance our global technology organization, focusing on real-time liquidity management and next-generation payments platform capabilities. You will design, develop and test high-performance Java applications within a secure, scalable environment.

You will collaborate across globally distributed teams, contribute to architecture and design artifacts, and participate in AI-assisted tooling to improve code quality and delivery speed, while

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on Java concepts.
• Understanding of Java 17+ fundamentals and frameworks (Spring Boot).
• Experience with modern testing tools (JUnit, Mockito, Spring Test Framework).
• Experience using and designing schemas in resilient SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g. CockroachDB).
• Familiarity with Linux environment, containers and cloud architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance, latency-sensitive code with security in mind.
• Write secure, high-quality code and automated tests.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational stability of software.
• Participate in communities across the group to drive adoption of modern technologies.
• Collaborate with a global team and provide production support when needed.
• Leverage enterprise AI coding assist tools to improve quality and speed, with peer review and secure coding standards.
• Apply SDLC tools and enterprise AI-assisted development to improve automation.
