Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking an experienced Software Engineer III to join the Liquidity and Account Solutions Technology team. You will build and support high-performance Java services for real-time liquidity, contributing to a next-generation core wholesale banking platform designed for global scale.

You will collaborate across international teams, participate in estimation, planning, code reviews, architecture sessions, and retrospectives while leveraging modern development programs and training

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on Java concepts.
• Excellent understanding of Java fundamentals and Spring Boot.
• Experience building high-performance, latency-sensitive Java applications.
• Experience maintaining software in Linux, containers and cloud architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance, latency-sensitive code and review code for security and quality.
• Write secure, high-quality code and automated tests.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure design constraints are met by code.
• Identify opportunities to eliminate recurring issues to improve operational stability.
• Collaborate across the group to drive adoption of modern technologies and practices.
• Provide technical leadership to small engineering sub-teams and mentor juniors.
