Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited offers an undergraduate internship based at the Broughton site in North Wales within the Real Estate team. You will work across the UK site portfolio, supporting master planning, lease negotiations, finances, and capital expenditure projects to drive value and efficiency.

The role requires undergraduates who are eager to learn Airbus tools and processes while developing strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Studying towards a degree in Real Estate Management, Legal, Surveyor, Business
• IT Literacy
• Basic project management skills, but also willing to learn and develop according to Airbus tools and processes
• Interest in Supply Chain management
• Interest in Investment Planning (CapEX)
• The ability to listen, understand and communicate information
• A strong interest in developing yourself
• A mind set to explore and work above and beyond, challenge current ways of working to develop new processes and ideas
• Ability to make decisions based on evidence
• Good stakeholder management skills, including good communication, customer focus and the ability to deliver on commitments
• Evolve along with changing priorities within the business and flexibility in a dynamic environment

Responsibilities

• Assist with the updates to the Master Plans for each UK site
• Identify space optimisation opportunities
• Support with the identification of a new workplace request
• Produce high level executive summaryp></li>
• Assist with lease negotiation and drafting
• Support the financial controllers with the information that identifies deviations from our cost base
• Preparation and planning of Capital Expenditure
• Manage projects according to Airbus principles to support the deployment of capital investment planning and project delivery
