Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited in Broughton, North Wales, invites undergrad students to join the FMRE UK team on a 12.5-month internship starting 16 August 2027. The role offers hybrid working options and a 35-hour week with a competitive salary.

You’ll work across real estate, facilities management and site projects, supporting budgeting, CapEX planning and reporting while developing practical experience in a dynamic aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Open to Undergraduates for the whole placement; graduation date to be provided.
• Pursuing a degree in Facilities Management, Business, Operations Management, or equivalent.
• Strong IT skills (Google Workspace).
• Ability to make decisions based on evidence.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Flexible, proactive and collaborative in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to work in a technical team and adhere to Airbus standards.

Responsibilities

• Support HO Customer Facing with the financial management of budgets and forecasting.
• Contribute to Capex planning and projects following Airbus principles.
• Develop site strategies including space management and sustainability.
• Integrate an MFT approach across UK Facilities Management.
• Lead projects improving workplace across the site (Better Workplace).
• Provide accurate, timely reporting with transparent metrics.
• Build relationships across plant levels to anticipate business needs.
