Job summary
Airbus Operations Limited is offering a student internship at the Broughton, North Wales site within the Facilities Management and Real Estate (FMRE UK) team. The role focuses on leading strategic building and construction projects from feasibility through to handover, in alignment with Airbus objectives on sustainability, production, and safety.
As an intern you will gain industry insights, learn Airbus tools and processes, and contribute to digital transformations that modernize project
Qualifications
- Studying toward a degree in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, Building Surveying, or equivalent.
- Baseline project management skills; eager to learn Airbus tools and processes.
- Excellent IT skills including Google Suite and CAD awareness.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and ability to deliver on commitments.
Responsibilities
- Lead key strategic projects from concept/feasibility to detailed design and handover.
- Learn and apply Airbus project management processes with the Buildings & Construction team.
- Define project scope with clients and stakeholders; support feasibility studies and design development.
- Prepare reports, presentations and specifications for stakeholders; monitor risks and budget.
