Job summary

Gen II Fund Services in Jersey is seeking a hands-on administrator to deliver a first-class service to a varied portfolio of clients. You will supervise, coach and develop junior team members while managing day-to-day client liaison and regulatory documentation.

The role involves reviewing payments, preparing board packs, drafting minutes, and supporting client account reviews and CDD processes. A track record in fund administration and industry qualifications is preferred, with Agile Working

Qualifications

• Table 5 Qualification
• Studying for or willing to study CGI Diploma
• Studying for or willing to study STEP Diploma
• Studying for or willing to study Diploma in Fund Administration
• Studying for or willing to study Any other Table 4 qualification

Responsibilities

• Administering a varied portfolio of clients
• Liaising with clients on a day-to-day basis
• Taking responsibility for client appropriate regulatory documentation (including where appropriate NRL returns and HMRC filings)
• Supervising, coaching and delegating to junior members of staff
• Reviewing payment instructions
• Maintaining and updating client documentation accurately
• Taking responsibility for your own personal development, in line with agreed annual performance objectives
• Scheduling meetings
• Co-ordinating the preparation and first review of board packs for meeting
• Drafting minutes
• Preparation and review of drawdowns and distributions
• Assisting with the review of accounts/financial statements
• Requesting CDD / ongoing monitoring of CDD
• First reviews of work/correspondence carried out by junior members of the team;
• Generation of the relevant checklists for workstreams carried out;
• Assisting manager with elements of the periodic review process;
• Managing transactional activity and appropriately delegating elements of transactional work;
• Assisting the onboarding department with any incorporations, where required; and
• Carrying out terminations of entities
