Job summary

Apex Group in Jersey, Channel Islands, is seeking an Assistant Manager in the Real Assets team. You will report to a Manager and provide administrative support and client relationship management for a defined portfolio.

The role emphasizes SLA compliance, collaboration with third parties and advisors, onboarding processes, and mentoring junior colleagues. You will contribute to projects and help drive efficient administration.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organisation skills.
• Knowledge of Jersey statutory laws and related regulatory requirements.
• Motivated and driven.
• Professional CGI qualification or studying towards CGI.
• Prior experience in the finance industry.
• Ability to mentor and train junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop client relationships with key contacts.
• Engage with third parties, client advisors and intermediaries.
• Support the administration team under the Manager.
• Monitor adherence to client SLAs and CSPs.
• Contribute to ad-hoc business projects.
• Ensure timely delivery of client responsibilities per deadlines.
• Lead and develop the junior team in transaction management (property, refinancing).
• Assist with due diligence and onboarding procedures.
• Monitor WIP and billing per fee agreements.
• Review outputs for accuracy.
• Manage risk per Apex Group policies and escalate as needed.
• Perform other duties to support the Manager and team.
