Job summary

Servicemaster Clean Swansea and South Wales Ltd is seeking a part-time cleaner to work Monday to Friday, 3.15pm-6.15pm during term time. You will perform cleaning duties under the guidance of the Area Supervisor and must obtain an enhanced DBS check.

Full training will be provided for those willing to learn. The role focuses on keeping the building clean and orderly, including basic cleaning tasks and maintaining equipment, with duties including stock preparation and securing the premises after

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning is welcome but not required.
• Enhanced DBS check required for this role.
• Full training will be provided for candidates who are willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Carry out basic cleaning in and around the designated area to a high standard.
• Damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting and sanitising hard surfaces as required.
• Set up the stock cupboard and help with stock ordering.
• Maintain cleaning equipment to a high standard.
• Transport waste to the designated areas.
• Perform additional duties as required by the Area Supervisor.
• Secure the building after completing the clean.

Job Purpose

To carry out the cleaning duties assigned to you by your Area Supervisor to a high standard and ensure the building is left in a clean and orderly condition

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• 1. Responsible for all basic cleaning in and around the commercial building or area you are allocated
• 2. General commercial cleaning duties include damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing hard surfaces
• 3. Setting up the stock cupboard, including ordering stock
• 4. Maintaining cleaning equipment to a high standard
• 5. Transporting waste to the assigned areas
• 6. Perform additional duties as and when required by your Area Supervisor
• 7. Securing a building following the completion of the clean
