Job summary

Servicemaster Clean Swansea and South Wales Ltd is seeking enthusiastic part-time cleaners for the Cardiff CF3 area. Shifts are Tuesday and Thursday, 10am to 1pm, reporting to the Area Supervisor.

Full training will be provided for candidates new to cleaning, with a focus on delivering high standards of cleanliness. We welcome applicants with cleaning experience, but training is available for willing learners.

Qualifications

• No formal cleaning experience required; full training provided.
• Reliable and punctual with good attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and team player.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all basic cleaning in the assigned area.
• Damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting and sanitising hard surfaces.
• Set up stock cupboard and order stock.
• Maintain cleaning equipment to a high standard.
• Transport waste to designated areas.
• Perform additional duties as required by the Area Supervisor.
• Secure the building after cleaning.

Job Purpose

To carry out the cleaning duties assigned to you by your Area Supervisor to a high standard and ensure the building is left in a clean and orderly condition

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• 1. Responsible for all basic cleaning in and around the commercial building or area you are allocated
• 2. General commercial cleaning duties include damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing hard surfaces
• 3. Setting up the stock cupboard, including ordering stock
• 4. Maintaining cleaning equipment to a high standard
• 5. Transporting waste to the assigned areas
• 6. Perform additional duties as and when required by your Area Supervisor
• 7. Securing a building following the completion of the clean
