Job summary

Servicemaster Clean in the Ystalyfera area is seeking enthusiastic part-time cleaners to join our team. You will perform cleaning duties to a high standard during the late afternoon, Monday to Friday, term-time only, with training provided.

No prior cleaning experience is required, but a willing attitude helps; an enhanced DBS check is required. You will report to your Area Supervisor and contribute to maintaining a clean, orderly environment for our client buildings.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning is welcome but not required.
• You will undergo full training for any candidate.
• A willingness to learn and be enthusiastic is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all basic cleaning in and around the allocated area.
• General cleaning duties include damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Set up the stock cupboard and assist with stock ordering.
• Maintain cleaning equipment to a high standard.
• Transport waste to designated areas.
• Perform additional duties as required by the Area Supervisor.

Job Purpose

To carry out the cleaning duties assigned to you by your Area Supervisor to a high standard and ensure the building is left in a clean and orderly condition

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• 1. Responsible for all basic cleaning in and around the commercial building or area you are allocated
• 2. General commercial cleaning duties include damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing hard surfaces
• 3. Setting up the stock cupboard, including ordering stock
• 4. Maintaining cleaning equipment to a high standard
• 5. Transporting waste to the assigned areas
• 6. Perform additional duties as and when required by your Area Supervisor
