Job summary

Jupiter Recruitment has a Nurse Deputy Home Manager role in a care home based in Lowestoft, Suffolk. The home provides residential, nursing and dementia care within a supportive community setting.

You must be a Registered Nurse with an active NMC Pin to be considered. The Deputy will work 40 hours per week on day shifts, supporting the Home Manager to meet CQC standards and ensure exceptional care.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
• Experience as Deputy Home Manager is preferred.
• Good knowledge of CQC standards.

Responsibilities

• Alongside the Home Manager, manage all aspects of the service in line with CQC requirements.

An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Nurse Deputy Home Manager to work in an exceptional care home based in the Lowestoft, Suffolk area.You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers

This care home is registered with the CQC to treat complex needs, which only qualified nurses are allowed to provide.The home provides exceptional residential, nursing and dementia care in the heart of the areas residential community

To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin

As the Deputy Manager your key duties include:

• Alongside the Home Manager, you will manage and have responsibility for all aspects of the service in line with CQC requirements
• You will ensure the service users are receiving the highest standards of professional support experiencing life opportunities helping to promote growth and independence

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Previous Deputy Home Manager experience
• The ability to engage with the service users to understand their needs in order to provide excellent services of care
• Good working knowledge of CQC standards
• The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals/ families/ visitors and staffing teams
• Promote ownership of care programs by fully involving service users and their families in developing/ agreeing and evaluating care programs within the home
