Job summary

Cygnet is seeking a Learning Disabilities Support Worker to join the team at Oakwood Gardens, Wombourne. This 0-hour contract involves nights and days supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism in a supported living setting.

You will promote independence, assist with daily activities, and document health observations while working alongside a caring team. DBS check will be required and training provided.

• Must have experience working with Learning Disabilities.

Oakwood Gardenshas9 self-contained bungalows supporting adults over the age of 18 with learning difficulties & autism, located inWV5 0BR, Wombourne.

Supported Living in Wombourne provides nine tenancies. The service empowers individuals with complex mental health needs, learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviours to live more independently. The service offers personalised and tailored support in a private space, allowing the people we support to hold their own tenancy with a registered housing association.

**Must have experience working with Learning Disabilities**

About the Role...

• Helping to promote resident independence
• Supporting residents in all aspects of day-to-day life, encouraging and promoting independence
• Monitoring of residents and reporting concerns to senior team members or managers
• Going out with residents into the local community to attend events, parks, restaurants and local activities
• Completing the resident’s records to help monitor health
