Job summary

Voyage Care is seeking a dedicated Night Support Worker to help residents in a rural residential service. You will assist with bedtime routines, personal care, and regular night checks to ensure safety and comfort.

Qualifications

  • Caring, hands-on support to enhance independence.
  • Experience with people needing behavioural support or mental health considerations is a plus.
  • Full UK driving licence is preferred.

  • Carry out light domestic duties as needed.

Typical Shifts are: 20:30 - 08:00 working 2 shifts a week including alternate weekends

We're on the hunt for genuinely caring, hands-on Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support. As a Support Worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!

Our residential service is a grade two listed building set in the beautiful rural location of Wiveliscombe. With its own orchard, log cabin art hub and pond, you can be sure that no two days will be the same! As a Night Support Worker you'll be enhancing the lives of people we support by assisting with bedtime routines, including personal care and completing regular checks throughout the night. You will also be expected to complete light domestic duties in any spare time.

This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to someone's life and to help them grow in confidence and independence so that they meet their goals, whether this be making dinner by themselves or going on holiday.

We're interested in our Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Support Workers should hold a full UK driving license, be resilient, flexible and composed in their approach, have experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice as well as experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviour's of distress, mental health conditions, autism and people who have experienced trauma.
