Voyage Care is seeking genuinely caring, hands-on Support Workers to help people gain independence at our Byards Keep service in Greylees, Sleaford. You’ll join a welcoming team delivering person-centred care and supporting daily living activities.

Typical shifts are Mon-Sun, day and evening slots with flexibility. We offer enhanced pay for evenings/weekends, premium overtime, Wagestream, and Blue Light Card benefits, plus DBS checks and training.

Qualificações

• Experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice.
• Experience working with individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds and challenging behaviours.

Responsabilidades

As a support worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!

Our residential service Byards Keep in Greylees Sleaford is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in the community, the next you could be unwinding with them playing video games, watching films or going to the cinema.

This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to someone's life and to help them grow in confidence and independence so that they meet their goals, whether this be making dinner by themselves or going on holiday.

We’re interested in our Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Support Workers should be resilient, flexible and composed in their approach, have experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice as well as experience working with individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex individuals with mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds and challenging behaviours.
