Job summary

Voyage Care in Minehead is seeking caring, hands-on Support Workers to help people live more independent lives. You’ll work within a dynamic team to support individuals in our Minehead service, helping with daily activities and community participation.

No prior experience is required; a genuine caring attitude, willingness to learn, and DBS checks with references are essential. We offer progression and comprehensive staff development within a supportive environment.

Job description

Typical Shifts are: Monday - Sunday 08:00 - 20:30 working 1 shift a week including alternate weekends

We're on the hunt for genuinely caring, hands-on Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support. As a support worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!

Our supported living service in Minehead is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You'll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in local bars and pubs, the next you could be unwinding with them playing video games, watching films or going to the cinema.
