Voyage Care is seeking caring, hands-on Support Workers to help people in our residential services gain independence and improve quality of life. You will work with a supportive team to enable daily living skills, social activities and community involvement.

The role requires a full UK manual driving licence, resilience, flexibility, and experience with Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice. DBS checks and references will be required.

Formación

• Mandatory driving licence (UK)
• Flexibility to cover shifts including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
• Experience with Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice is desirable
• Experience with individuals requiring enhanced support (including trauma, mental health, autism) is valued

-£12.84 up to £14.34 with overtime and evening/weekend enhancements (Ts & Cs apply)

Typical Shifts are a mixture of : 08:00-15:00 & 15:00-22:00 and sleep ins Monday - Sunday (we require flexibility)

As a support worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!

Our residential service is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You'll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in local bars and pubs, the next you could be unwinding with them playing video games, watching films or going to the cinema.

This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to someone's life and to help them grow in confidence and independence so that they meet their goals, whether this be making dinner by themselves or going on holiday.

We're interested in our Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Support Workers should hold a full manual UK driving licence, be resilient, flexible and composed in their approach, have experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice as well as experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviour's of distress, mental health conditions, autism, forensic histories and people who have experienced trauma.
