Job summary

Helen and Douglas House in Witney is seeking a hands-on Shop Manager to run our busy charity shop, lead a team of staff and volunteers, and drive sales. This full-time role is 37.5 hours per week across 5 days over 7, with weekend rota requirements, a permanent contract, and a focus on great customer service, merchandising and stock management.

Salary ranges from £27,147 to £27,900 per annum. Interviews will be conducted virtually via Microsoft Teams, and all staff join a safeguarding and equal

Lead a busy community charity shop, build a team of volunteers and make a real local impact.

We’re looking for a hands‑on Shop Manager to run our Witney shop by driving sales, creating a welcoming space, and leading a fantastic team of staff and volunteers.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Leading the day-to-day running of a busy shop.
  • Managing and supporting the shop team, including volunteers.

The role will require some weekend work on a rota basis. Flexibility is required as working patterns will change regularly due to the needs of the business and levels of volunteers available to work.
