Octane Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Vehicle Technician for a fast-fit automotive retailer in Wimborne. You will review work on customers' vehicles, carry out a wide range of fast-fit mechanical tasks and light and full-service work.

No formal qualifications are required as the employer will fund Level 3 qualifications (IMI & Hybrid). Benefits include 32 days holiday, ongoing training, career development, staff discounts, life insurance and more. Shift 08:30–17:30, Mon–Fri; Saturdays on rota.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence is essential.
• Experience working as a Vehicle Technician.
• Interest in hybrid car technology and ongoing learning.

Responsibilities

• Review work on customers' vehicles and perform fast-fit mechanical tasks.
• Carry out light and full-service work and tyre/diagnostic duties as needed.
• Work with the workshop team to meet targets and ensure quality.

Job description

Our client who is one of the UK’s fastest growing fast-fit automotive business, are currently looking for a Vehicle Technician based at their retail centre in Wimborne.

As a Vehicle Technician you would be responsible for reviewing work on customers vehicles, completing wide range of fast fit mechanical work and light and full-service work.

You do not need to be a qualified technician for this role. Our client is happy to put you through your qualifications!

Location: Wimborne

OTE: Uncapped and realistic £3,600

Shift and schedule: 08:30 - 17:30 Monday to Friday; Saturdays 08:30 – 16:00 on a rota with a day off in the week.

• Operating precision wheel alignment machinery, interpreting readings, and completing accurate adjustments
• Carrying out precise tyre diagnostics, fast-fit replacements, and repairs across various vehicle makes
• Working with the rest of the workshop to achieve targets
• Work as a team with the other Vehicle Technicians

To be a Vehicle Technician you will need:

• Valid UK driving licence – Essential
• Experience working as a Vehicle Technician (no qualifications needed)
• Have a passion for the Automotive industry and want to develop further
• Want to learn and develop your knowledge of Hybrid cars
