Octane Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Van Technician/LCV Technician for a Swinton area position with a great independent specialist. The role requires carrying out servicing, maintenance and fault diagnosis on vans and LCVs, including potential MOT duties and warranty work in line with brand parameters.

Candidates should have 5+ years as a Vehicle Technician, experience with vans/LCVs, and a full UK driving license.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a Vehicle Technician
• Experience fixing Vans/LCV's essential
• Full UK driving license required
• NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds L3 or equivalent; Level 2 with main dealer experience considered

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles
• Electrical, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair
• MOT testing duties (if qualified)
• Deal with warranty approved work in line with brand parameters

Salary – Up to £50,000 Basic + Overtime at 1.5x Pay (Up to £36.06ph) DOE & Qualifications

Days – Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8 hour working days (flexible working hours between 7:30am - 5:30pm, so can be 9am -5:30pm or 8am - 4:30pm), 1 in 3 Saturday mornings on a rota paid at 1.5x (8am – 12pm)

• Experience in fixing Vans/ LCV's is essential
• Main dealership experience is beneficial but not essential
• NVQ, IMI, City and Guilds or Mechanical Engineeering level 3 or equivalent ideally but will consider level 2 with main dealership experience
• We would consider applicants with less experience if you have main dealer experience at Ford or any Stellantis brand
