Fifth Wheel Recruitment is seeking a Class 1 Driver for container work at our Widnes client. Training on container work is provided, with a focus on drop and swap duties and routine vehicle checks.

You'll work Monday to Friday with weekend overtime available, earning competitive rates across weekdays and weekends. A DCPC and Digi-tacho card are required, with up to 6 points allowed, and full UK residency is expected.

• Endorsements DD, TT, DR, CD, IN are not accepted.

Job Title: Class 1 Driver - Container work (Drop & Swap) - Client will provide training on Container Work

Location: Widnes

Hours: Monday to Friday (Weekend overtime available) - shift starts 06:00

This role may require you to complete a Driving Assessment before you can be allocated a shift.

About you:

You will have your Class 1 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience driving commercially. Training is available for Class 1 drivers with no container experience.

You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations.

You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
