Job summary

Proman in Liverpool (Garston) is recruiting an HGV Class 1 driver for ongoing container work. You will deliver containers safely across ports, depots and customer locations with a modern fleet.

Shifts are Monday to Friday nights, start times between 16:00 and 17:00, with competitive rates including holiday pay. A valid license, CPC and tachograph card are required, with up to 6 penalty points allowed.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid Driver CPC (DQC Card).
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Maximum 6 penalty points (no DR/IN/TT endorsements).

Responsibilities

• Transport containers to and from ports and customer sites.
• Ensure all loads are secured and compliant.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and paperwork.
• Work to scheduled delivery times.
• Maintain high standards of safety and professionalism.

Overview

Class 1 Driver - Container Work - Liverpool (Garston, L19). Location: Liverpool, L19 (Garston). Role: HGV Class 1 Driver (C+E). Job Type: Ongoing / Full-Time Opportunities. Shifts: Monday to Friday (Nights). Start Times: Between 16:00 - 17:00.

Pay Rates

• Weekdays: £22.41 per hour (£20.00 + holiday pay)
• Saturday: £22.97 per hour (£20.50 + holiday pay)
• Sunday / Bank Holidays: £30.26 per hour (£27.00 + holiday pay)

The Role
