Job summary

Fifth Wheel Recruitment are seeking Class 1 Tanker Drivers in Skelmersdale to work with a natural spring water supplier. Roles require driving Class 1 Tanker vehicles, with routine checks and secure load handling, while adhering to safety standards.

Immediate starts and weekly pay are offered, with overtime opportunities and a £25 night-out fee. Applicants should have 12+ months of commercial driving, DCPC and Digi-tacho cards, and will need to meet WTD requirements; visas or relocation

Qualifications

• Must have Class 1 driving licence and at least 12 months' experience driving commercially.
• UK DCPC card and valid Digi-tacho card are required.
• Endorsements DD, TT, DR, CD, IN cannot be accepted; up to 6 points allowed.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 1 Tanker (Non ADR).
• Carry out routine vehicle checks and keep cab and trailer clean.
• Ensure loads are placed and secured correctly.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 06:00 starts - Some nights out required (£25 per night)

Assessment: Yes - required before start (full Tanker training provided)

Class 1 Tanker Driver - Role & Responsibilities:

• Operating HGV Class 1 Tanker (Non ADR)
• Routine vehicle checks and maintaining trailer and cab cleanliness
• Ensuring all loads are placed and secured correctly
• All applicants are expected to complete work to a high standard while following site safety procedures.

About you:

You will have your Class 1 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations.

You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
