Job summary

Temp Station Ltd is recruiting Class 1 container drivers for our client based at London Gateway (SS17). You will handle skeleton trailers to collect containers and deliver to customers, with around 1–3 deliveries per day and occasional trailer swaps.

We require at least 6 months container experience (training available). Induction and assessment on site are mandatory. Working times are Monday to Friday nights, typically 17:00–19:00 starts, on an ongoing basis.

Qualifications

• Category C+E Licence, CPC and Digi card required.
• 6 months container driving experience preferred; training available.
• Full PPE provided and required on site.
• Provide high level of customer service.
• No more than 6 points on licence.

Responsibilities

Temp Station are currently recruiting class 1 container drivers on Days & Nights for our client based in London Gateway (SS17)

Our client is a national logistics company with many sites across the UK.

The successful candidates will be required to use a skeleton trailer to collect containers and deliver them to customers, making 1 3 deliveries a day, which may also include trailer swaps.

Drivers with 6 months previous container experience are preferred but not essential. Training packages can be provided for the right candidates.

All candidates must undergo an induction and assessment on site prior to working.

Working times are Monday to Friday Nights with start times typically between 17:00pm and 19:00pm, on an ongoing basis.

Job Role:

Driver requirements:

• Must have a Category C+E Licence

• Clean uniforms Hi Viz and company logo uniform can be provided at no cost.
