Job summary

Veolia is seeking a mobile engineer to safely operate and maintain multiple sites across the Midlands, ensuring 100% service delivery under contract KPIs.

Qualified to HNC in Electrical Maintenance with PLC fault-finding skills, you will join a collaborative team and contribute to Veolia's high standards of customer service and safety.

Qualifications

• HNC level qualification in Electrical Maintenance.
• Experience fault finding on PLC and control systems.
• Ability to work in a small team and coach others.
• Demonstrated high workmanship standards.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain multiple sites as a mobile engineer to meet client KPIs.
• Carry out Planned Preventive Maintenance and routine servicing of electrical equipment and instrumentation.
• Work in a team on a 1 in 4 callout / weekend rota covering sites 24/7.
• Interact with clients daily to meet their needs and deliver excellent service.

Salary: £40,000 per annum plus company vehicle and Veolia benefits

Hours: 43 hours per week

Location: mobile across the Midlands Region

What you'll be doing:

• Safely operate and maintain multiple sites as a mobile engineer ensuring 100% service delivery is supplied to the client under contract KPI's
• Safely carry out all Planned Preventive Maintenance activities ensuring they are completed within the desired time frame. The successful candidate will be primarily expected to carry out routine servicing & inspection of electrical equipment and instrumentation. It is expected that they will also assist with mechanical tasks as required
• Work within a close Team on a 1 in 4 callout / weekend working Rota covering the sites 24/7
• Interact with our Clients on a Daily basis to meet their needs and deliver excellent customer service delivery.

What we're looking for:

• Qualified to HNC level in Electrical Maintenance
• Proven ability to fault find on PLC and control systems
• Must be able to form part of a small team and be willing to coach and assist other team members
• Exercise individual core technical skills effectively, flexibly and to a high personal standard of workmanship.
• Self motivating and a strong team player with a can do attitude prepared to go the extra mile
• Proven ability to fault find and problem solve both electrically and mechanically
• Full Driving licence
