Job summary

Veolia is seeking an experienced project professional in the United Kingdom to manage mechanical or electrical service projects from inception to completion. You will coordinate calls, site visits, and stakeholder communications, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.

You will contribute to risk mitigation, nurture client relationships, and support quality control across communications and supplier interactions, while participating in an on-call rota requiring remote laptop access.

Qualifications

• Experience in a mechanical or electrical services environment.
• Experience applying improvement techniques.
• Strong health and safety knowledge.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Ensure projects are delivered end to end on time and to budget.
• Attend project management calls and site visits with customers and planning teams.
• Provide solutions to risks affecting project timelines.
• Build relationships with customers and manage external suppliers.
• Oversee quality control and ensure communications to clients are proofread.
• Ensure commercial and scope decisions follow Veolia processes.
• Be on the on-call rota, coordinating out-of-hours support remotely.

Salary: £34,000 - £40,000 DOE per annum plus Veolia benefits and bonus

Hours: 42.5 hours per week

What you'll be doing:

• Ensure that projects are delivered end to end on time and to budget.
• Attend project management calls and site visits with the customer and the internal planning team.
• Provide solutions to risks that link to the project timeframes.
• Build positive working relationships with the customer and contribute to building a long-standing partnership. You will be building client relationships at the project level and managing relevant external suppliers.
• Take charge of quality control, making sure that project administration and proofreading are complete for all communications we send to clients.
• Ensure key commercial and scope decisions are made in line with the Veolia agreed processes.
• You will be part of the on call rota alongside the management team, requiring you to take and coordinate out of hours call outs in the evenings and weekends. This only requires you to work from a laptop remotely to deploy the on call engineers.

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience gained in a mechanical or electrical services environment
• Understanding and application of improvement techniques
• Good understanding of Health and Safety
• Full UK Driving Licence
