Job summary

Qualifications

• Car ry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on mechanical and HVAC systems.
• Maintain and repair pumps, motors, bearings, seals and compressors.
• Service and maintain Air Handling Units (AHUs) and Fan Coil Units (FCUs), including filter changes and cleaning.
• Carry out basic chiller resets and fault finding.
• Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and identify any plant issues.
• Ensure all maintenance records and logbooks are accurately completed.
• Escort specialist subcontractors when required.
• Provide technical support and assist fellow engineers across the portfolio.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures.

HVAC Engineer - Commercial Building - Wellingborough - Immediate start - £30.73 Per Hour

An exciting immediate opportunity to join an established building services company based in Wellingborough. CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting a HVAC Engineer to cover a commercial site. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance alongside the maintenance team.

Hours of work

- Monday to Friday

- 08:00am to 17:00pm

- Contract type: temp to perm

- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on mechanical and HVAC systems.

- Maintain and repair pumps, motors, bearings, seals and compressors.

- Service and maintain Air Handling Units (AHUs) and Fan Coil Units (FCUs), including filter changes and cleaning.

- Carry out basic chiller resets and fault finding.

- Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and identify any plant issues.

Requirements

- Mechanically qualified with City & Guilds - Level 2 & 3

- City & Guilds 2079-11 (Category I F-Gas and ODS Regulations

- Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates

- A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
